Yesterday was a fun day. We did not have a snow day like the rest of the world, but we kept it kinda light and had some fun. I rented a huge house for next week and we are planning a vacation with family friends, so we will have a break then.
We talked about Punxsutawney Phil and counted how many more weeks until spring. When 7th grade realized that spring is 6 weeks away regardless of Phil, she was like, "Awwww, I liked that story and you ruined it!" I apologized for killing the groundhog and the Easter bunny too. LOL! She laughed!
We did this activity together which I got from Enchanted Learning.
Last summer we were gifted this:
I have to say, it reminded me of my childhood and everyone liked it much better than microwaved popcorn.

We love our popper too! It tastes so much better and I like that I can make it with olive oil.
Thanks so much, De, for all your support. It means more than I can say!
Microwave popcorn? Ba-humbug! There's only one way to REALLY make good popcorn, in a cast iron Dutch oven on a gas stove. I'm surprised you didn't know that! ;-)
Happy Groundhog Day!
Hey De,
There is a special award waiting for you on my blog.
I really appreciate you!
