Poppy

On April 9th at 5:55 pm, my dad died. He was diagnosed with cancer on March 21st. On March 31st I brought him to my home to seek treatment as I live near a reputable cancer center. On April 1st, we were told that he would not survive chemo, so once again I brought someone I love home and my children again cared for someone that they loved who was ill. They cared for him the best that they could. 1 week later he became too ill for us to care for and entered a Hospice facility where he died 24 hours later.

My sweet, poor children. how much more.....

Praying without ceasing. Asking that God surround you with His love.
I love you all so much and so sorry with the sufferings that seem to keep coming. Thankful that you had the time you had with you dad and also Monica.
Peace be with you.

Oh, I am so very sorry to hear this. It is exactly how my husband lost his mother, -over the course of less than 8 weeks. I will say a prayer for you. My children are ages 14, 12, 11, and 7 (all adopted). If your children would be encouraged by a child sending them a card of encouragement, please let me know. We would be happy to minister to their hearts.
Blessings,
Toni

I'm thinking about you and praying for you. I hope you are okay. I lost my Dad 4 years ago and it's so hard. Take care of yourself! I just wanted to let you know that I'm still thinking of you as you walk through this valley and praying that you come out with happy memories of your Poppy and the ablity to go on, knowing that you will see him again in heaven.

Take care!
