Today was oh so much better. Prayer and sleep are miracle workers around here.
I updated attendance and completed progress report cards today. 1st grade has about 5 weeks of work left. He is grinning towards the finish line. 8th grade is in the home stretch too. I cannot believe we are getting ready for high school next year. 4th grade is making progress and is in the 8th and 9th units of his 10 units lessons. Whew.
We are also making attitude adjustments that focus on living privileged lives versus basic lives. We are naming and claiming happiness, building relationships instead of walls and changing the desires of our hearts to line up better with His delight. I am pleased that the participants want to do better which makes it easier to support.
Library day tomorrow. We may have to take a bigger book bag as my kids tend to be big borrowers. ~Smile~

We have been studying about living "Kingdom Lives" so we are talking about how we carry ourselves, our body language and our words as it relates to living like the Kings children as oppose those that have no hope of living better. We have talked about not having what society may call the "latest greatest" but we have the best that meets our needs, and so we are focusing on living privileged based on that hope. That also means treating those around us as the Kings children, just like we would treat royalty or "stars" on the big screen. I mean...that's kinda of the reader's digest version.
Do you do school throughout the year, or do you have longer summer breaks?
The best feeling IN THE WORLD has the be the anticipation that comes with a new pile of library books. Oh! HOW I wish I had time to read!
