We are packed and ready... I think. When we travel as a family, I often use matching shirts to help keep track of kids. My mom used to do it when we were kids 'cause she just loved the whole matching-family thing. I did not mind so much... my brother hated it. Of course, my mother's choice in fashionable shirts may have contributed to that. LOL! I called my brother to ask him what size matching shirt he wanted for this trip and he assured me that the store probably did not have his size. ROFL!
I also write my kids name, DOB, and my cell number on their hips with permanent marker since none of them have drivers licenses or state ID's. So they are tagged and ready to go.
Peace

We started this blog with the purpose of sharing information with our friends and family, but most of all to give our students more experience in writing, publishing and improving their communication skills. But changes and life marched on and now this blog serves as a record of our school progress and some of that life that marches.

Baptism
This tuxedo was given to us by a store clerk that my mom shops at frequently. He had a daughter that celebrated a QuinceaƱero and gave my mom the dress and the tuxedo from her escort.
New shoes to go with his free tux. (he did have dress socks for today)Wednesday, July 14, 2010
This, These Plus These
We have a great trip planned!
Next week, I am taking this
and all of these
plus these
to a Porsche festival that my brother is participating in as a belated celebration for my father’s birthday. I am very excited and look forward to staying in a new campground.
So… planning and packing are responsible for lots of st. icky n. otes.

Baptism Postponed
As I read back I realized that I had not mentioned that James is getting baptised this summer. He started baptism classes in June and finished last week. It was scheduled to happen on July 11th, but we just got word today that is will be postponed. Such last minute notice means we must scramble to reschedule visiting family, but it also means we have more time to find the right shoes and belt. I can't wait to share a picture of the complete 'ensem'!

Summer Full of Kiddos
We are full here. My 3, 2 fosters, 2 different respites (1 now for 1 week and another coming next week) and 1 childcare kid scheduled. Whew! Had to put the extra seat in the van, but still can't carry 'em all come next Tuesday. Tired, but loving it.
Peace
