"No more M(ur)SA Jumping on the Bed"

Our new toddler loves all nursery rhymes and you forget how many many many there are until you start going through your repertoire. Today we went in for well child check-up and to get a re-check on the M(ur) SA. Well the doctor was running late. VERY LATE!! and I had gotten there about 15 mins early which left us in the waiting room for long time. The toddler started squirming and I started singing. 5 little monkeys was a crowd-pleaser and not just for the baby. LOL!

Anyway, mama called the doctor and the doctor said, the M(ur)Sa is still clear and in 3 months we can do a final re-check.

I am not sure why, but even I get a charge out of "Five Little Monkies"! In fact, I love fingerplays altogether. I wonder if they are regulating? I bet they are, with the rhythm and the chant.

I "loved" your paper doll story and so did my girls! Thanks for sharing!! I don't know if it's my personality or that fact that I've done daycare for so many years or what....but I too love fingerplays! But I love reading aloud too. I like making funny faces, funny voices, and watching theirs!! I agree Five Little Monkeys is a classic. Wish I could have seen your rendition. lol I'm sure it was a show stopper!

Have a great day!!
